The Global Health Research Centre on Strengthening of Capacity for NCD control in West Africa (Stop-NCD) is a UK and low-and-middle-income-country partnership that aims to contribute to improved health and wellbeing of populations in West Africa, through comprehensive and sustainable capacity strengthening for high-quality applied non-communicable disease research in Burkina Faso, Ghana and Niger to inform improved prevention, screening, primary care diagnosis and management/referrals of interrelated hypertension, diabetes and common mental health problems.
We are seeking a highly skilled project manager (ideally with experience of working in a global health related setting previously), to support the two joint Principal Investigators, Tolib Mirzoev and Irene Ayepong (based in Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons) and teams at LSHTM, GCPS and four three partner organisations in West Africa with project and data management issues.
The post is full-time 35 hours per week, 1.0 FTE and fixed term until 30 September 2027. The post is funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) and is available from 01st November 2024.
The salary will be on the Professional Services salary scale, Grade 6 in the range £44,847 - £50,808 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London at LSHTM.
