The Role
As a Senior Technician you will support and enhance our engineering capabilities and expertise in Hydrogen research by supporting the development and maintenance of our Hydrogen laboratory facilities.
At the C-ALPS we have world-class Hydrogen energy research facilities. To transition to clean growth, Hydrogen will be key. This is where the role supports our research, by developing our research test facilities.

Our Successful Candidate
As a Senior Technician you will demonstrate previous experience of providing engineering technical support for research and development/or instrumentation in a laboratory environment using a wide range of equipment related to fluid engineering activities.
You will be competent in the safe and effective operation of a range of mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment and instrumentation and field-based equipment, including experience of commissioning, calibrating, and maintaining a wide range of laboratory equipment in these areas.
You will also require strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with students and staff at all levels, sharing your technical knowledge effectively.
