Background and role

An excellent opportunity to join our friendly team has opened up for an enthusiastic part-time lecturer in forensic psychology. We are looking for individuals with relevant and current experience to contribute to our range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

You will contribute particularly to our accredited MSc Forensic and Investigative Psychology course (Stage 1) and our new and accredited BSc Psychology (Clinical and Forensic) as well as other courses as appropriate. The post holder will also contribute to other teaching related tasks, such as supervision, and engage in sustained scholarly and research activity as appropriate. Some experience of teaching in the University sector would be advantageous.

It is expected that one of your main teaching days will fall on a Thursday as this is when the content teaching for the MSc Forensic and Investigative Psychology takes place. Finally, the appointee will be expected to contribute to on-going curriculum development, as well as assume additional administrative roles, as appropriate.

Applicants should have a BPS accredited undergraduate degree and a psychology PhD or equivalent.
