The Royal Veterinary College (RVC) has been named the top veterinary school in the QS World University Rankings 2024. Founded in 1791 it is also the UK’s longest-standing veterinary school. Comparative Biomedical Sciences (CBS) is one of three academic departments at the RVC.
CBS are currently looking for a Laboratory Attendant. You will be responsible for the daily cleaning and housekeeping of specific departmental research and teaching laboratories. Your duties will include cleaning floors and other surfaces; safe removal and disposal of waste materials; cleaning laboratory equipment; assisting with teaching set ups and clean ups; provisioning laboratories, and other related housekeeping duties.
Applicants should be enthusiastic, highly motivated, have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and be able to work with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have cleaning experience, be comfortable working in a laboratory environment and have some knowledge of Microsoft programmes (Excel, Word).
You will be working at our Camden Campus alongside a team of CBS laboratory attendants, departmental technicians, research staff and students.
