Are you a project manager or experienced project professional looking for a new and exciting opportunity?
Our Directorate of IT & Digital (IT&D) is seeking a Project Manager to join them on a 22 months fixed term contract to lead, oversee, and ensure successful delivery of multiple projects from our IT&D portfolios. Our projects span across the University's key initiatives and are core to execution of the overall strategy. As the Project Manager, you will be engaged in working with our Software Engineering team to plan and deliver complex data projects, working with our Infrastructure teams on the installation of new technology for our flexible learning environments, supporting the plan and delivery of the IT requirements of our new library building or working with our Professional Services teams to build software to help make the lives of our students better – our list of exciting and engaging projects is growing!
Along with providing excellent project governance, you'll use your skillset to support and mentor our current teams to help them focus on the priorities to deliver projects to the highest possible standard. You will be called upon to encourage, facilitate, and enable transparency in our approach and to coach and mentor team members and others to apply the most appropriate project management tools and techniques and build great relationships with our wider team and stakeholders.

The initial focus of this role will be to manage an exciting Data & Analytics project that includes the build of a large and complex data repository and a platform for analytics that will prove to be key for the University going forward. You will be managing a variety of stakeholders and will be responsible for the delivery of a third party supplier.
