We wish to appoint a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate to support the development of a research and outreach agenda around generative justice. Key issues will include desistance from crime, decarceration, community reintegration, and leadership roles for people with lived experience of the criminal legal system.

You should have (or be about to obtain) a PhD in sociology, criminology or social policy and have experience of research or scholarship around these topics.

This two-year fixed term post is available immediately on a full-time basis.

If you are still awaiting your PhD to be awarded you will be appointed at Grade 6, spine point 30. Upon written confirmation that you have been awarded your PhD, your salary will be increased to Grade 7, spine point 31.

This role is eligible for sponsorship under the skilled worker route.
