We are currently recruiting for Professors and Readers with expertise, and an interest in, Health and Wellbeing to join us. Building on our leadership in health, human performance, and public policy, we’re looking for experts in: 

  • Lifestyle for Health and Wellbeing: Including exercise as medicine, sleep science, and behaviour change interventions, including wearable technologies. 
  • Impact of physical activity on health (physical and mental): reinforce our work in elite and community sport, physical activity epidemiology, and rehabilitation sciences, economic activity and social inclusion. 
  • Interventions, Epidemiology and Genetics: Translate genetics and public health research into real-world interventions. 
  • Ergonomics and Human Factors: Expand our systems thinking, workplace health, and design research.  
  • Health Economics: Strengthen research on policy, health services research and efficiency, and global health systems.

Successful candidates will demonstrate a record of academic excellence appropriate to the level of the role they are applying for, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in their discipline and achieving international recognition.

  • Location: It is anticipated that the majority of the academic roles we have available as part of the campaign will be located at our East Midlands campus in Loughborough. Should you be particularly interested in working at our London campus please state this in your application.
