We wish to appoint a highly motivated postdoctoral research fellow in Epidemiology/Statistics to join the Population Health Research Institute (PHRI. The postholder will identify precisely where and who is being left behind in the context of huge gains in child survival in sub-Saharan Africa cities, using Ghana as a case study. The postholder will apply advanced statistical approaches to pool child mortality data from diverse sources and estimate fine-scale geographic and socioeconomic inequalities in under-five mortality rates across all major cities in Ghana, and assess how these inequalities have changed over time.
