We are seeking an HR Coordinator to join our small, supportive HR team by coordinating the HR processes, providing clear and accurate advice to individuals and managers on a range of HR administrative duties and carrying out general administration relating to HR processes and payroll duties. The post holder will use their strong IT, interpersonal and organisational skills to effectively coordinate these processes.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate factual & theoretical knowledge of HR administration and their high level of awareness of personal impact paired with excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable them to offer a fantastic level of customer service. Strong attention to detail, an ability to prioritise effectively and an understanding of the importance of confidentiality in the role are key.

Founded in 1816, the museum welcomes around 500,000 visitors a year and houses over half a million works of art and material culture spanning from 10,000BCE to the present day, principally from Europe, North Africa and Asia.

To help support our staff to thrive both professionally and personally, we offer hybrid working, and the role holder will have the flexibility to work some days from home, subject to business needs. 4 days/29 hours: Pattern of work to be agreed.

Temporary cover: This post is fixed-term for 1 years or the return of the post holder, whichever is the earlier.
