Are you passionate about improving the university experience, and outcomes, for disabled students at Birkbeck, University of London? Are you a proactive team-player who can help students seek out the right support, and get the most from their time at Birkbeck? We are looking for a Disability Advisor to join us on a full-time, permanent contract.
As Disability Advisor, working within our Wellbeing Services, you will manage a student caseload and work collaboratively with internal and external professionals to develop, and deliver, a range of high-quality interventions and services to those with long-term physical health conditions and disabilities, mobility and sensory disabilities, and specific learning differences.

If you have experience as an Assistant Disability Advisor, Wellbeing Administrator, Needs Assessor, Specialist Dyslexia or SpLD tutor, Mental Health Advisor, Occupational Health Specialist or Education, Health and Care Needs Assessor, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Remuneration
£38,443 to £43,636 per annum, Grade 6 of the College's London Pay Scale which includes a consolidated London Weighting Allowance.

Terms and Conditions
Permanent, Full-time contract (35 hours a week). Part-time considered. Hybrid role - working in-person three days a week (including Wednesdays). Occasional weekend and evening working. Please submit an application form for consideration.
