Are you in a graphic designer looking to step up into a midweight role?

We are on the hunt for a confident, creative, enthusiastic and highly organised graphic designer, with a passion for creating innovative and compelling content, to join our Creative Services team.

Your role will be to support the Creative Services Managers and Senior Designers in developing and delivering impactful, authentic campaigns that drive engagement and growth for the University. This involves answering client briefs and generating creative, effective graphic design solutions, from ideation through to execution.

The ideal candidate will have a number of years years’ experience in delivering high-quality creative assets across a range of marketing and communications channels. This is a hand-on graphic design role, meaning you will need a strong, diverse portfolio of digital and print design work, showcasing layout, typography, campaign collateral, digital assets and branding.

About You

You will be a versatile graphic designer with excellent communication skills and the ability to mix creative flair with commercial awareness. You'll have a strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator essential). And if you have additional creative skills and experience, such as motion graphics or copy, great! We’re looking for someone who can thrive working in a fast-paced marketing department. This means you’ll be capable of working at pace, while still ensuring high-quality, relevant and innovative creative output that fits all marketing touchpoints, engages, motivates, and resonates with our target audiences, while adhering to brand guidelines. Bursting with ideas and up to date on the latest design trends, you will relish sharing your insights with your creative colleagues.

Please see the accompanying job description for more information about the role and what we’re looking for. We work flexibly at The University of Warwick and this role is hybrid with a minimum of two days in the office. We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.
