About the Post

We are looking to appoint one full-time academic, or potentially two part-time academics to join our expanding Dental Team. The post holder will be part of the lecturing team that will continuously develop, improve, and deliver the BSc (Hons) Dental Hygiene and Therapy provision. You will work closely with our Course Leader and Dean of School, Associate Dean (Teaching and Learning).

There has been significant investment in growing our health-related teaching facilities, with the recent development of our NHS-dental clinical facilities on our Ipswich campus. You will be joining a friendly, ambitious, and innovative course team, and you will also receive support from our Dental Technician.

About You

We are looking to recruit resilient, forward thinking and innovative professionals who are eager to embrace this unique opportunity to shape Dental Hygiene and Therapy undergraduate education in Suffolk and complement our expanding team. You should be highly motivated and talented, who will not only make the most of opportunities provided by our School, but also help to develop new opportunities in research and teaching. You must hold current GDC registration as a dental therapist; hold a relevant higher degree level qualification and have experience in delivery of oral health education in the higher education setting.
