Annual Leave: 30 days plus standard public holidays and an additional 4 days including the closure of our office between Christmas and New Year

Location: Hybrid – three days working from home and two days in Bishop Square, Hatfield 

You will join our large Marketing and Communications team, with a key role in the delivery of high performing student recruitment campaigns and engaging content to excite, inspire and convert the next generation of Herts students.

Main duties and responsibilities

The role focuses on creating awareness and engagement with prospective UK undergraduate and postgraduate students, working closely with the Communications, Insight, Creative and Digital functions to deliver integrated, multi-channel, content-driven campaigns. 

You will lead on the planning and delivery of these paid digital campaigns (involving a wide range of digital media including paid search, social media, programmatic, digital radio and VOD) working with our media agency and supported by a team of two Acquisition Marketing Executives who you will line manage.

You will also work with our media agency and other teams within Marketing and Communications to deliver integrated communications across our owned and earned channels (including implementing frictionless web journeys), report on effectiveness and make recommendations for optimization.

Skills and experience required

You will have proven experience of delivering effective paid campaigns across a wide range of digital media, optimising web journeys, working with agencies and managing multiple projects. You will possess an understanding of integrated marketing campaigns and various social media platforms and hold experience in copy writing for multiple audiences and formats. Excellent written, verbal and organisational skills are essential. The ability to work with large teams and resources to deliver complex projects successfully is also essential.  

Qualifications required

You will be educated with a minimum of a Degree or equivalent or proven experience.
