Faculty / Directorate
The Registry Services Directorate comprises responsibility for the administration of the student journey from registration to graduation, and consists of the following functions: student records, quality assurance, UKVI compliance, timetabling, student records, examinations, awards and graduations, and student casework.
The role of Senior Academic Quality Officer: Ofsted and Technical Education is situated within DMU’s Directorate of Registry Services. Academic Quality Services is a central university team responsible for the development and implementation of academic quality assurance policy and practice, providing support to DMU’s faculties, professional services and collaborative partners to ensure the maintenance of academic standards and the quality of the student experience.
Role
The Senior Academic Quality Officer: Ofsted and Technical Education is an exciting new role within Academic Quality Services that will lead on the development of academic quality assurance policy and practice in the context of DMU’s apprenticeships, skills and technical education provision and will support the university’s compliance with relevant external regulatory and statutory bodies.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in academic quality assurance and providing regulatory advice and guidance to others on regulatory matters. Knowledge of the requirements of Ofsted, ESFA, IfATE and other regulatory bodies in respect of apprenticeships, skills and technical education provision is essential.
