Reporting to the Head of Library Service, the User Services Librarian works as a key member of the Library Management team, taking responsibility for front-line and outreach services to ensure the delivery of a professional library provision and support the University’s commitment to supporting the entire community.
The User Services Librarian will manage user-facing staff, including Information and Student Library Assistants, as well as the library and study spaces at the main campus in Chiswick. They will also take responsibility for promoting the library services and resources and will deliver both in-person and online information literacy sessions which form an integral part of the applied liberal arts model.
This is a full-time position, based predominantly on campus, with limited remote working during teaching weeks but more flexibility at other times.
