Lecturer: £40,497 - £44,128;
Senior Lecturer: £45,413 - £55,755 per annum
The University of Portsmouth School of Medicine, Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences wishes to appoint a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Pharmacology, ideally qualified to PhD level. While the specific area of pharmacology is flexible, expertise in immunology and the ability to contribute to teaching in this area would be particularly welcomed.
You should have as record of publishing in peer reviewed journals and ideally have some success in obtaining research funding. You will be expected to make an active contribution to the education and research profile of the School within the area of Pharmacology.
You will teach on courses including BSc (Hons) Pharmacology, MPharm (Hons) Pharmacy, and BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science and be committed to excellence in teaching, learning and assessment strategies. You will have drive, an innovative approach to learning, teaching and research, and enjoy working collaboratively.
The successful applicant will be appointed on the Lecturer or Senior Lecturer scale in accordance with qualifications and experience.
