St Edmund’s College is seeking to appoint a College Teaching Officer (CTO) / Lecturer in Mathematics. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career scholar to join a supportive and inclusive academic community while building a competitive teaching portfolio in the University of Cambridge system.
Working closely with the Director of Education and current Directors of Studies, you will provide academic leadership and small-group teaching (supervisions) for students across the undergraduate and postgraduate mathematics programmes.
You will also take on the important role of Director of Studies for Part III Mathematics students and support the DoS responsibilities for undergraduate students in Parts IA, IB and II of the Mathematical Tripos.

Group 3: Analysis and Topology, Complex Analysis, Complex Methods, Electromagnetism, Fluid Dynamics, Geometry, Groups, Rings & Modules, Linear Algebra, Markov Chains, Methods, Numerical Analysis, Quantum Mechanics, Statistics
Group 4 (desirable): Automata & Formal Languages, Logic & Set Theory, Mathematical Biology, Mathematics of Machine Learning, Optimisation, Variational Principles
