  • Be a team player able to support other members of the group, including graduate and undergraduate project students
  • Be responsible for delivering the proposed research objectives in a timely manner, further developing the research, innovation, and knowledge exchange partnerships
  • Conduct both independent and collaborative investigations that lead to high-quality research publications.

Some travel to collaborator institutes (University of Oxford) will be required for training and tech-transfer. The role also offers exceptional opportunities for inter-institutional collaboration, professional development, and international research exchange.

This project aligns with the WHO’s ‘End TB Strategy’ to combat infectious diseases globally.

If you have experience or interest in roles such as Research Fellow, Research Associate, or Academic Researcher, this position could be the perfect fit for you.

Join us at Birkbeck in tackling one of the world’s most pressing public health challenges and contributing to the global fight against drug-resistant TB.
