The University is embarking on an ambitious university-wide Curriculum Shape project, involving the redesign and revalidation of all programmes in alignment with our new Curriculum Framework and Assessment and Feedback Policy. Aligned with our values - collaborative, impactful and inclusive - the framework sets out our approach to providing an inclusive, scaffolded and career-ready curriculum, putting students at the heart of how programmes are designed and taught.
This is a multi-faceted initiative, working collaboratively with all faculties and schools and all service directorates. To support the implementation, we are introducing a collaborative approach to curriculum development and approval, supported by a Curriculum Development and Approval Team. This team includes our new Curriculum Designer roles.
As an experienced curriculum designer or senior curriculum designer you will work collaboratively with programme leaders and their teams, applying your expertise to guide and support high quality programme and module design. You will work alongside quality assurance officers, thematic academic leads and other stakeholders, providing structured design workshops and responsive guidance and advice. You will be a key contact for the programme team, providing continuity of support running through the design and approval process.
