About the role
The Department of Psychology Research Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the Department Research Leadership team, Principal Investigators (PIs) and research teams across a variety of projects in the department.
This dynamic role will involve providing essential administrative, co-ordination, and communications support across multiple research initiatives.
In addition to supporting specific research projects, a key focus of the role will be supporting the Psychology Research Leadership team in implementing the department’s research strategy—enhancing research impact, improving research quality, and fostering a supportive and inclusive research culture.
This may be through activities such as supporting the organisation of events for stakeholders, recording evidence of impact, and managing our successful student research apprenticeship scheme.
As part of a team supporting research in Psychology, you will be working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, and adapting to the evolving needs of different research projects.
You will have the opportunity to shape and streamline processes, ensuring that projects run efficiently and effectively, whilst being flexible and responsive to the unique demands of each initiative.
This role requires excellent organisational skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to think creatively and work independently.
As Research Coordinator you will be an integral part of an innovative and impactful academic environment.
You’ll gain valuable experience working with a wide range of stakeholders and contribute to the success of our research.
The role offers opportunities for professional growth, continuous learning, and involvement in diverse and exciting projects.
