An exciting, part-time and permanent position has arisen within our small, friendly, campus-based E-Learning team. We are seeking an experienced learning technologist to work with us to support staff and students to use various learning technologies including Moodle, Turnitin, Panopto, Teams and SEAtS. We are not expecting you to be familiar with all these technologies as training will be provided, but experience of supporting a VLE (CMS) is essential.

The job entails responding effectively and promptly to queries and requests from staff and students related to digital learning, teaching and assessment. It also involves configuring Moodle activities and resources, supporting administration of our lecture capture and learning analytics systems and creating and delivering training and support materials.

Applicants should have a degree, equivalent qualification or relevant experience to the role. They should also have experience supporting users in the use of a VLE where they resolved enquiries in a system administrator role and have experience of designing and delivering online and in person training in support of learning technologies.

Informal enquiries about this opportunity are very welcome. Please contact Kris Dines, at k.dines@staff.newman.ac.uk, to discuss the role further.
