Tutor in Theology - Ministry and Mission

At an exciting stage in its life and development Ripon College Cuddesdon (‘Cuddesdon’) – one of the larger Theological Education Institutes specialising in the education and training of ministry students in the Church of England – is seeking to appoint a Tutor with a focus on Ministry and Mission to share in the teaching, formation and pastoral support of students at its base near Oxford.

Students are enrolled in either the Durham Common Awards or an appropriate Oxford University programme. Suitably qualified appointees may be invited to become associate Faculty members of the Oxford Faculty of Theology and Religion.

Cuddesdon is a complex and vibrant community, both gathered and dispersed, comprehensive in its intake, visionary in its outlook and broad in its commitment to serving the Kingdom, the world and the Church.

We are especially keen to hear from you if you

• have a strong grounding in practical ministry at local/parochial level,
• are committed to being part of a close-knit community of worship and learning, based in a beautiful village near Oxford,
• and if you are able to teach in more than one curriculum area (for instance worship and liturgy).
