We are establishing a new multi-disciplinary team with responsibility for the delivery and continuous improvement of digital content distributed through our main external website and staff intranet.
This role will be part of a team of experienced specialists who will work collaboratively to ensure a user-centred approach that provides a great user experience, with engaging, relevant and accessible content that meets (and exceeds) user needs.
Ultimately, the team’s work will create high performing digital experiences that will help prospective students and other external stakeholders to choose to study and work with UWTSD and enable colleagues to more effectively find and share information.
These new roles will sit alongside the other teams in the wider Marketing department such as social media, Advertising and Content Marketing.
THE ROLE
The Content Designer (Web) will be responsible for creating, updating and evaluating content for one or more digital products. This includes the main external website and staff intranet.
Applying your knowledge, experience and an evidence-based understanding of the audience you will design intuitive and engaging product experiences that help users accomplish their goals.
Working closely with colleagues within the multidisciplinary delivery team, such as UX Researcher, Senior SEO Officer, and Content Editors, you will be responsible for developing content solutions that meet or exceed user needs. The role will also work collaboratively with design teams in Digital Services to plan and execute successful delivery of new products.
Through collaboration with colleagues across the University, you will support the delivery of the strategic marketing objectives.
