Mary Immaculate College (MIC) is an autonomous, university-level, Catholic College of Education and the Liberal Arts. Senior Educational Psychologist MIC Limerick Campus
Mary Immaculate College wishes to appoint a Senior Educational Psychologist on a Fulltime, Permanent basis (2 posts).
The Department of Educational Psychology, Inclusive and Special Education, Faculty of Education is seeking applications from motivated, experienced psychologists. The successful candidates will play a key role in the delivery of the Professional Doctorate in Educational and Child Psychology (DECPsy) programme.
The DECPsy programme is a three-year, full-time professional training course. The programme, which is accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland, is designed to prepare trainees for practice as educational psychologists in a range of settings.
The successful candidate will supervise research, deliver core modules, supervise professional placement and provide support in the delivery of the DECPsy programme.
Enthusiasm for a multi-disciplinary environment is essential as the appointee will be required to liaise with staff across the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Arts. The persons appointed must exhibit evidence of strong commitment to excellence in teaching, research and continued scholarly activity.
