RKE Development Officer

Are you passionate about supporting groundbreaking research through the preparation and submission of high quality proposals to a wide range of external research and knowledge exchange funders? If so, we’d love to hear from you! We are current recruiting for a RKE Development Officer to provide expert advice on funding opportunities, internal processes, and funder requirements. Your support will be instrumental in ensuring that pre-award costing, ethical reviews, due diligence, and risk assessments are completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising researchers on external funding opportunities, including contract research and tenders.
• Managing the pre-award process, ensuring compliance with funder policies and internal guidelines.
• Facilitating ethical review and risk evaluations before submission.
• Overseeing award acceptance and liaising with contracts specialists.
• Collaborating across the Directorate for seamless project transitions.
• Driving the growth of external income and improving bidding processes
