If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at SOAS as a Research & Knowledge Exchange (RKE) Project Mobilisation Officer.
About the Role
As RKE Project Mobilisation Officer, you will take the lead in the initiation, coordination, and launch of externally funded research and knowledge exchange projects. Working across the RKE Directorate, you will ensure that award set-up is completed efficiently, project handovers to post-award officers are seamless, and kick-off processes are enacted smoothly. Additionally, you will establish robust project protocols to support the successful delivery of awards throughout their lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the mobilisation of externally funded RKE projects, ensuring efficient setup and coordination.
- Drive continuous process improvement to enhance SOAS’ policies and procedures for effective project delivery.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the RKE Directorate to ensure projects are handed over smoothly to post-award teams.
- Oversee project kick-off processes, ensuring they align with institutional standards and objectives.
- Lead the College Research Coordination team, ensuring seamless support for SOAS’ academic community in delivering research projects.
- Establish and maintain best practice protocols for project management to improve efficiency and accountability.
About You
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will have experience in research project management, knowledge exchange, or funding administration, and be confident in coordinating and liaising with a variety of stakeholders.
