Full time: 35 hours per week
As an engaged and enthusiastic member of the Health and Life Sciences Technical Support Team, the post holder will provide specialised technical support across the School/University with a special emphasis on Biological Sciences. This includes demonstrating concepts and techniques to support learning, teaching, research, and enterprise activities in the subject area.
The post holder will also introduce innovative techniques into research and academic delivery within the Biological Sciences subject areas.
The post holder will routinely address staff and student groups with information of a highly specialist nature. This involves detailed explanations of Biological Sciences concepts to embrace theoretical conclusions. This will involve leading timetabled practical sessions as well as supporting other access to specialist facilities.
