- THE ROLE -
The University’s Global Engagement Office is responsible for overseeing all aspects of international student’s life at Ulster as well as the experience of Ulster students who undertake a mobility period abroad.
We are looking for a motivated individual to join the Global Mobility team (who are part of the Global Engagement Office). The successful candidate will support all aspects of the University’s study abroad and exchange activities with a particular focus on short-term programmes and the administration of funding schemes. You will also be working in support of international opportunities funded through the Turing Scheme.
The Global Mobility Coordinator will be a team player; have a commitment to the highest levels of support and service and be a passionate advocate of value of international experiences for all students. This position will suit individuals with experience of working in an administrative and/or student support capacity, and particularly those who have supported international student mobility.
- ABOUT YOU -
- A degree level qualification (or equivalent) or A-levels (or equivalent qualification) and work experience relevant to the role.
- Experience or knowledge of international student exchanges or other student placement activities.
- Experience of working in an administrative role in higher education or similar environment.
- Experience of providing advice and information to a range of different audiences and stakeholders.
- The willingness to travel and work outside normal office hours on occasion to meet the needs of the post.
