About the Role

The main purpose of the role will be to support the activities for the two projects and oversee their financial reporting to the funders, under the supervision of the Principal Investigator.
About You
You will have a post-graduate degree in relevant subject or equivalent experience in global public health. You will have previous experience of participating in international collaboration research projects and familiarity with the organisation and governance of research as well as previous experience in managing ERC and NIHR funded projects.
About the School/Department/Institute/Project
The ASP-Belong project involves the development and testing of an augmented reality intervention based on the principles of solution focused therapy, to improve social connectedness within schools, and ultimately reduce mental distress. Randomised Control Trials will be set up in collaboration with local research institutions in the UK, Ireland, Austria, Germany, Portugal and Czechia to test the efficacy of the intervention.
The Physician dual practice project aims at improving the understanding of physicians’ simultaneous engagement in public and private services in Mozambique and South Africa, and design suitable regulatory interventions. The project encompasses conducting qualitative interviews in the two countries, implementing a discrete-choice experiment, and developing an Agent-Based Model to predict reactions to different forms of regulation.
