Research Services Division
This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.
This new full-time (1.0FTE) post is available from 2nd June 2025 on a permanent basis, within Research Services Division.

Have you got experience of working to support clinical research governance within a complex organisation with an ability to give competent advice and advice on good practice in ethical and well-designed health research?

What will you do in this role?
This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in supporting the University of Exeter’s clinical research in a diverse and innovative research-intensive institution.
As an institutional expert in clinical research governance, you will support the Senior Clinical Research Governance Manager in providing assurance that the rights, dignity, safety and wellbeing of participants are protected and that the University’s research governance procedures are followed.
You will be a key contact for academic and Professional Services colleagues, offering support on obtaining the appropriate authorisations and will provide an effective link between external agencies, research teams, relevant University professional services staff and NHS R&D Departments.
