This part-time (0.4 FTE) role is available from August 2025 on a fixed-term basis until 31st January 2026.
The role
This post is to provide temporary cover for the research and education responsibilities of staff in the microbiology team at the University of Exeter Medical School’s European Centre for Environment and Human Health, based at the Penryn Campus in Cornwall. It will involve teaching at undergraduate level (primarily the BMBS taught in Penryn and Truro) and research support across a wide range of PhD and externally funded research projects, including a large Horizon Europe project on the impacts of climate change on pathogen evolution and ecology in coastal environments.
