This is a fixed-term appointment for 1 year, starting no later than 3 September 2025

The successful candidate will contribute to carrying out experimental research in a new behavioural lab at the Inclusion Initiative. They will be working on projects to advancing TII’s research agenda and engagement with internal and external stakeholders

The postholder will be expected to actively participate in the development of the behavioural lab and will be expected to contribute to the design and implementation of high-quality lab experiments and field interventions, including experimental design, data collection, data analysis, stakeholder engagement and the communication of results for both academic and business audiences.

The successful candidate will have experience of planning and executing independent original research and of executing end-to-end lab and/or field experimental research, including experience with data collection and data management, and have knowledge of advanced quantitative and experimental research methods. They will have a background in behavioural science or experimental/behavioural economics, and/or social or organisational psychology, experience with experimental methods and platforms (online experiments, field experiments). They will be willing to engage regularly with stakeholders and learn how to author/co-author high-quality peer-reviewed publications.

The postholder will have an opportunity to contribute to and publish academic papers and will join a multi-disciplinary team in a friendly, supportive and collaborative environment with a range of opportunities for engaging and helping shape diverse research projects, supporting grant and proposal writing and teaching.

The postholder should have demonstrated expertise in experimental research, either through a completed or by the post start date BSc or substantial relevant experience in industry. They will be a strong team player with excellent communication skills, able to work independently and meet deadlines.

The successful applicant will take up the post no later than 3 September 2025 and will be expected to be present on the LSE campus at least once per week (exceptions could be made for highly skilled candidates who live outside London).
