The role

We are seeking to recruit a researcher with an interest in better access and use of evidence around different community interventions to support the delivery of the ‘What Works’ – evidence review and synthesis - function of the Centre for Collaboration in Community Connectedness (C4).

The position requires strong teamwork and communication skills, reliability, attention to detail, effective time management, and the ability to work independently under the supervision of project and line managers.

The role will include:

  • Supporting meetings to discuss the development of a programme of evidence reviews 
  • Undertaking training and then implementing a range of evidence search and review methodologies, including systematic reviews, rapid evidence synthesis, realist synthesis and evidence reviews
  • Accessing and reviewing ‘grey literature’
  • Supporting the production of briefings, reports and articles from the evidence reviews.
