The University of Reading’s School of Agriculture, Policy & Development seeks to appoint an Associate Professor in Agricultural Business Management in the Department of Agri-Food Economics & Marketing. The appointee will contribute to research and teaching in the area of agribusiness management and related fields, with associated responsibilities relating to administration and outreach. We would be particularly interested to receive applications from candidates with a strong interest and knowledge of financial business management, agribusiness enterprise and innovation adoption, or experience in practical decision making and management of farm businesses.
The University has recently launched AgriFood Futures, a new ambitious research strategy for the period to 2050, supported by substantial investment on research leadership and facilities. The ability to engage with on-going research projects and the potential to attract research funding are important.
