Cambridge Judge Business School (CJBS) is seeking a talented Product Manager to drive the development and successful delivery of innovative digital learning solutions. In this role, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of products that align with organisational objectives, collaborating closely with the Systems Development Team and the Director of Digital Education. You will also act as the primary liaison between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, effectively communicated, and met with high-quality outcomes.

The role:

  • Play a pivotal role in driving the development and successful delivery of innovative digital learning solutions.
  • Balance of strategic vision, technical understanding, leadership, and stakeholder management expertise to ensure the product meets its intended goals, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of innovative digital learning solutions, ensuring alignment with the organisation's strategic objectives.
  • Oversee the product lifecycle, managing timelines, and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Ensure that the product meets user needs, is developed to specification, and integrates effectively with existing systems and processes.
  • Drive iterative development, maintain quality assurance, and ensure continuous alignment with evolving user requirements and organisational goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in the end-to-end delivery of digital platforms, from gathering requirements and engaging stakeholders to managing iterative development cycles. They will be highly collaborative, working effectively with cross-functional teams such as software developers, IT personnel, and business users. Experience in conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) and overseeing successful platform rollouts is essential.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are key, particularly the ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear, user-friendly language. The successful candidate will also bring strong organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities, along with a proactive, problem-solving mindset to tackle technical and user challenges.

Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Microsoft Project, and Teams, or other Agile project management software, is required, as is the ability to monitor budgets and manage resources efficiently. A degree in Computer Science, IT Management, or a related field - or equivalent practical experience - is essential.

Desirable qualifications and experience include familiarity with cloud-based architecture (such as Azure) and enterprise systems (e.g., Dynamics 365), programming skills, and certifications in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner) or project management frameworks like PRINCE2.

The advertised salary range reflects the full progression within the grade. Your starting salary will be determined based on how your skills and experience align with the requirements of the role.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 2 years in the first instance.
