Planning & Operations Manager (fixed term) 

Salary from £42,679 to £51,000 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £54,730 pa inclusive of London allowance 

LSE’s Extended Education Unit is seeking a Planning & Operations Manager on a fixed term contract which will conclude on 04 September 2026. This individual will be part of a highly successful and commercially driven division which currently delivers LSE’s open enrolment short courses, Summer School and distance learning degree programmes. 

Currently, the Unit is in a crucial period transition, and the post-holder will play an important role in the day-to-day management of the computer systems that underpin its programme portfolio. The Planning & Operations Manager will act as the primary point of contact when it comes to liaising with internal stakeholders about the Unit’s system-based needs, and they will work closely with colleagues to enhance our technological infrastructure and ensure it supports ambitious plans for growth. 

Candidates should have experience of both the SITS student records system and Salesforce, as well as an ability to manage a busy workload involving multiple overlapping deadlines.
