The Scottish Sensory Centre (SSC) is seeking a Qualified Habilitation Specialist on a Fixed Term basis until March 31st 2026.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week); We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
This post may also be offered as a secondment.
The Opportunity:
The Habilitation Specialist will provide advice and guidance to Local Authorities in the delivery and Habilitation Services to children and young people.
This includes developing and writing the practical components of an externally validated course for registration to become a Qualified Habilitation Specialist. The successful postholder will also plan and deliver high quality Professional Learning for school staff (teaching and non-teaching) as well as Habilitation Specialists and Habilitation Assistants
The salary for this post is £40,497 to £48,149 per annum.
