Senior Careers Project Officer (Medr Employability Project)

Carmarthen or Swansea, but should be able and prepared to work at home, and at other locations in Wales as necessary.

THE ROLE

The Senior Project Officer assists in the delivery of the Medr-funded ‘TESS’ project at UWTSD, known as Your Career Pathway which is based around providing targeted support and interventions for students who face additional barriers to enhancing their employability and developing career readiness post-graduation. 

The post holder will develop opportunities, work placements and skills development activities to support students in the enhancement of their employability skills and employment prospects. Project goals include improving the short, medium and long term employment prospects of UWTSD graduates, and reducing the number of UWTSD students at risk of becoming NEET (not in Education, Employment or Training) after their studies.

WELSH LANGUAGE

The ability to communicate and work through the medium of Welsh is essential for this post.
