An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Academic & Teaching Partner to provide information and digital literacy skills teaching in person and online to enhance student learning and staff teaching and research.
Key duties of the role include collaborative design and delivery of materials to help students, researchers and academics make the best use of library resources. The role will be assigned as specialist to one of the four faculties for engagement around teaching and open research advocacy and will also be expected to cover across all faculties as part of the team.
You will have a track record of successful planning and delivering training/user education. You will also have knowledge of major developments in HE concerning information and digital literacies, e-learning, and research skills and practices.
You will have demonstrable communication skills (verbal and written) and an ability to collaborate effectively with diverse groups of faculty, students and other professional services colleagues.
This full-time post is available immediately on an indefinite basis.
During semester times up to 100% on site may be required regularly to ensure cover of in person teaching, workshops and events across all disciplines across all working days. Some hybrid working may be possible out of core semester time in line with the University hybrid working policy.
