As a Research Contracts Administrator, you will be responsible for providing essential administrative support to the contracts team, including information gathering relating to new agreements, coordinating the countersignature of contracts and managing all related administration on our case management system.

This role also offers the opportunity for hybrid working (the contract team is based in 5WS (Central Oxford) with an expectation of a minimum of 50% of time spent on site).
About the Role
Are you interested in a role supporting our research? Applications are invited for a research contracts administrator to join a friendly and collaborative team. This is a key role providing underpinning administrative support to the contracts officers, including managing our team inbox and referring requests as required.
Once fully trained, you will also work with the contracts and grants teams and colleagues in departments in carrying out initial set up of financial accounts relating to research funding.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to improving systems and processes, and support the team by producing activity reports on request.
About You
The successful candidate will have a demonstrable passion for organisation and efficiency, excellent attention to detail, and an interest in supporting research.
You will be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers from across the University.
You will need to be fully at ease with using databases, spreadsheets and other electronic systems in order to manage your work (training will be provided in specific systems).
