We are excited to launch a new student-led Physiotherapy Clinic with a specialist focus on neurological rehabilitation, and we’re looking for dedicated Lecturer Practitioner in Physiotherapy to be part of this exciting initiative. Running for 36 weeks a year in line with student placement blocks, this post offers a valuable opportunity to supervise and mentor students as they gain essential hands-on experience.
More than just a learning environment, the clinic will actively serve the local community—providing high-quality, person-centred care at an affordable price to those who need it most.
We continue to experience significant development, and we have an ambitious learning, research and engagement agenda. Staff are encouraged and supported to be innovative in their teaching, enabling students to thrive and build firm foundations in their chosen field.

Supporting our people:
We recognise that our recruitment might bring in staff who are new to higher education and are bringing knowledge and expertise from other fields and practice. We want to ensure that all our academic staff are appropriately qualified to teach in HE and have the confidence to do so; to support this, we offer a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PGCAP) to all new teaching staff without an existing teaching qualification. This provides our new staff with an opportunity to develop their understanding and practice of learning, teaching and pedagogic research/research management in higher education, and enables us to maintain our high standards of teaching.
