The University of Nottingham is seeking a Cleaning and Support Technician to work in our busy animal research facility. In this crucial role, you will be supporting technical staff by cleaning and preparing equipment for use across the University. You will be expected to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced working environment, so good time management will be critical.
As the successful candidate, you will be able to undertake responsibility for your area of work and have the ability to work with minimum supervision after receiving initial training. Cross-site working will be required and you will be part of a crucial team that allows the Bio-Support Unit to run smoothly, keeping our customers satisfied, and our operations running efficiently.
You will be numerate, have an eye for detail, and be used to meeting a high level of customer expectation. An understanding of cleanliness and infection control is advantageous, as will the desire to undertake regular development and training courses. Experience in a similar role is not necessary but you will have good communication and team-working skills.
This is a permanent, full time position (36.26 hours/week).
