This fixed term position is designed to provide an opportunity for a talented practitioner, who has not previously been given the opportunity to undertake a management role in a drama school, to develop the leadership skills and experience necessary to undertake a management role within an actor-training organisation.
As the Mentee you become part of the Senior Leadership Team, so will share responsibility with senior colleagues for setting the overall strategy of the organisation and overseeing the day-to-day delivery of the programmes.
This is a particularly exciting developmental opportunity for someone with leadership aspirations within drama training and the wider creative industries. Some of the opportunities available to our first Senior Management Mentee included: forming partnerships with nationally and internationally recognised arts companies, chairing whole team meetings, directing projects – and involvement at a senior level in exciting key developments in the business such as validating our degree, the successful bid for acquiring our London premises and our forthcoming opening in Birmingham.
You will also be expected to undertake leadership and day-to-day delivery in at least one area of the Studio’s work. This area will be one of the following:
