About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Postgraduate Dentistry Team at the University of Central Lancashire. Working closely with the Program Lead and Postgraduate Lead for Dental Programs, the post holder will lead on the development, assessment and evaluation of the Postgraduate Certificate of Conscious Sedation in Dentistry. The post holder will take lead responsibility for the planning and delivery of teaching and clinical teaching and assessment on the Preston Campus and will continue to develop continued professional development opportunities for dental conscious sedation.

About you:

The successful applicant will need to have undergraduate dentistry (BDS or equivalent) degree. The post-holder must have comprehensive long-term experience of conscious sedation in general dental practice, university, community or hospital environment. The post-holder must also have experience of teaching/supervising at postgraduate level or having held a recognised teaching role/position within a dental education setting and hold a formal teaching qualification or willingness to undertake within 2 years of appointment. The post-holder will have experience of program course management and administration.
