An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Additive Manufacturing and Hydrogen Technologies Team at Manchester Metropolitan University as a Electric/Electronic Engineer Technical Specialist. Based in John Dalton, this is an exciting opportunity to use your specialist skills to support the research, teaching and industrial partners projects taking place in Manchester Metropolitan University.
The a project is funded from a cooperative agreement between Manchester Metropolitan University and the US ARMY DEVCOM. The post-holder will aim to remove the third-party components (potentiostat, smart phone and stirrer) and the manufacturer-imposed restrictions upon the user interface of a current “in-development” portal electrochemical sensor for heavy metals in water. This is a fixed term 12 month position that is estimated to start in June 2025 and end in May 2026.
