The Faculty of Linguistics, Philology, and Phonetics (Language and Brain Laboratory) seeks to employ a Research Assistant to work on two neurolinguistic projects investigating language production and processing using Electroencephalography (EEG).

About the Role
 
The Research Assistant will be responsible for participant recruitment, running the studies, and processing and statistical analyses of the data (behavioural and EEG). After initial training, the RA is expected to run the EEG studies and process the collected data independently.
 
This is a part-time 0.47 FTE, fixed-term post, over up to 11 months (paid at Grade 6.1). The post is funded by two John Fell OUP Fund grants awarded to Dr Isabella Fritz (project ii.) and Dr Hilary Wynne (project i.), and a British Academy Small Research Grant awarded to Dr Hilary Wynne (project i.)
 
The successful applicant will have:
• a postgraduate degree (or close to completion) in Linguistics or Psychology
• some background in Psycholinguistics and/or Neurolinguistics;
• an interest in neurolinguistic studies using EEG;
• a background in statistical analyses
• both self-motivation and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
