About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Academic Services Librarian to join the Bodleian Law Library at the University of Oxford. It is one of the largest libraries in the University and one of the leading academic law libraries in the UK.

You will lead the Law Library’s Academic Services team consisting of 18 staff, 10 of whom work outside core opening hours. You will manage the day-to-day operations of the library. You will work closely with colleagues to deliver training to law students particularly at the start of each academic year.

You must also be able to work collaboratively with a wide range of colleagues. You should have excellent written and oral communication skills and have experience of delivering training. Good organisational and project management skills are required.

What We Offer

The University offers a generous pension scheme. Annual leave is 38 days per year including bank holidays and University fixed closure days; there is an option to buy additional leave. More information is available at  https://hr.admin.ox.ac.uk/staff-benefits
