Applications are now open for a Translational Sample Coordinator position to join our team. This post offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and well-motivated individual to work in a dynamic and supportive academic environment at one of the leading UK cancer trials units. This post is funded by a CRUK RadNet award and the candidate will be a part of the ICR-RM RadNet team.
Key Requirements
The successful applicant will have a first degree in biomedical sciences with an interest in statistics/data science. Additionally, they should demonstrate a keen interest in clinical trials and translational research ideally with experience in database management. Effective oral and written communication skills and enthusiasm for collaborating with researchers from different disciplines are essential.
Department/Directorate Information
ICR-CTSU manages an exciting portfolio of national and international phase II and III clinical trials and an expanding number of early phase I/II cancer trials. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team overseeing coordination of sample and imaging collections held within the ICR’s radiotherapy clinical trial portfolio and oversee development and management of a central database of samples held within laboratories at the ICR and Royal Marsden Hospital.
