Head of Business
The Head of Business is a pivotal leadership position, focusing on driving student engagement and retention across Foundation Year and Levels 4, 5, and 6. With expertise in curriculum development and experience teaching at Level 7, the role-holder will play a crucial part in shaping the future of the College of Esports (CoEs). A background in business or entrepreneurship is essential, complementing their ability to lead and inspire both students and faculty.
Positioned at the heart of CoEs' experiential learning approach, the Head of Business will guide a dynamic team to deliver comprehensive, impactful educational experiences that enable students to thrive and achieve their full potential. This role is ideal for an individual with a proven track record of enhancing student outcomes and building strong industry links to enrich learning delivery.
Job Profile
The role involves overseeing the teaching, curriculum development, and delivery of the Business Management award portfolio across the London campus and satellite locations. This includes the day-to-day management of awards, ensuring alignment with CoEs' mission and industry standards.
The successful candidate will lead the Business Academic Team, fostering innovative and creative teaching practices while maintaining the highest educational and professional standards. Engaging in research or professional practice in the business and enterprise sectors, particularly within Esports, will be integral to the role. Moreover, collaboration with the Executive Dean and Heads of Subject to adapt to industry changes and equip students with cutting-edge knowledge and skills is essential. The role-holder will also contribute to recruitment initiatives, foster partnerships, and support extracurricular activities that enhance student learning experiences.
