LSE100, LSE’s flagship interdisciplinary course taken by all first-year undergraduates, is seeking a highly committed and motivated administrator to provide support to the LSE100 Co-Directors, Course Manager and Assessment Manager across a range of activities, focusing on communications and engagement alongside core administrative duties.
The post holder will play a key role in developing and delivering our current events programme (including Welcome events, student receptions, and other extra-curricular activities) as well as proposing new events and activities to foster a first-year community among LSE100 students. They will support internal and external communications, liaising with colleagues from across the School, and monitoring and developing LSE100’s communication networks across social media and other platforms. The post holder will also work closely with the Course Manager and the Assessment Manager to administer the processes that underpin the successful running of the course. In particular, the post holder will support the teaching team with the provision of resources and act as a first point of contact for enquiries
Successful candidates will have: previous experience of working in an administrative role; experience of organising/managing events; a high level of accuracy and attention to detail; proven ability to plan, prioritise and systematically manage a demanding and varied workload; and high-quality written and verbal communication skills.
